In 1956, Yukui Chicken Hotel joined the collective shop Wenchang County Wencheng Cooperative Store to continue to operate Wenchang Chicken Rice.


In the spring of 1982, Han Lanying reconstructed the Wenchang Chicken Hotel in Wenchang County, named "Yanjiang Chicken Hotel". With the increasing reputation of the hotel, Han Lanying's nephew, Fu Guoxin, moved the "Yanjiang Chicken Hotel" to Haikou City in the spring of 1992 and renamed it "Haikou Yanjiang Chicken Hotel". In 1996, the business scope was expanded again, and the name was changed to "Yanjiang Hotel", and the "Yanjiang" trademark was registered with the Industry and Commerce Bureau. In the same year, the restaurant was designated as a famous restaurant in Hainan Province and a well-known local restaurant in Hainan Province.


Since then, Yanjiang Hotel has set up two branches in Guangzhou and Beijing, respectively, and was awarded the "Chinese Famous Restaurant" by the China Cuisine Association. Fu Guoxin, the heir of Yanjiang Chicken Restaurant, told reporters that Yanjiang Hotel is also the first choice for overseas Chinese to eat Wenchang chicken in Hainan.

Appeal to build a green brand of Hainan cuisine


As of now, the Ministry of Commerce has identified two batches of more than 1,100 "Chinese time-honored brand" enterprises. Since the selection activity, none of Hainan has been selected. In the initial review of the Longhua Riverside Hotel in Haikou, it was also a lot of trouble. The biggest problem is that it is difficult to find historical inheritance materials. However, through reading historical materials and visiting relevant people, I finally found relevant materials to prove: "Yanjiang Hotel" is based on the old skills and traditional characteristics of the "Yu Kwai Chicken Hotel" for more than 60 years. It has a long history and is well-known and rich in Southeast Asia. Features, won the favor of consumers at home and abroad, in line with the "Chinese time-honored brand" participation conditions. Fu Guoxin was very honored as the first member of our province to be awarded the title of "China Time-honored Enterprise".


In recent years, the creation of Hainan cuisine and the establishment of the "Hainan cuisine" brand have a high voice, whether it is the deep processing of the island's agricultural products, attracting employment, or enriching Hainan's tourism products, have practical significance. Statistics show that in 2010, Hainan's restaurant turnover reached 8.684 billion yuan, which solved the employment of more than 300,000 people on the island.
