Daoming Bamboo is a special product of Daoming Town, Chongzhou City, Sichuan Province. The bamboo weaving style is chic, exquisite and delicate, and durable. The products were identified by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine as China's geographical indication protection products, and “Dow Ming Day Bamboo Crafts” was included in the Sichuan Intangible Cultural Heritage List.

Technical requirements for quality of TD Mingzhu (1) Source of raw materials. Ciku [Sinocalmus affinis (Rendle) Mcclure]. (2) Site conditions. Within the protected area, the altitude is below 1000m, the land type is sandy loam and loamy soil, the soil pH is 5.4 to 7.5, and the soil organic matter content is ≥2.7%. (3) Raw material requirements. 1. The color and thickness of the material are uniform, the surface of the bamboo is smooth and smooth, and there is no mold, pests and spots. 2. Qi Wei: The broken bamboo section will be cut along the radial direction of the bamboo. 4. Uniform wire: Evenly pull the cross-cut silk to the uniform knife, so that the width and thickness of the silk are kept uniform, and the bamboo fiber wire attached to the silk can be removed to keep the silk smooth. 5. Boiled: The bracts are boiled in an aqueous solution (1:200) with appropriate amount of cork skin for 2 hours to achieve the purpose of degreasing, sugar removal, mildew proof, anti-mite and anti-cracking. According to the color, the dye is added to the boiling water, the bracts are dyed to the desired color, and then washed with water and dried. The dyes used were pure natural Chinese herbal plants: safflower (red dyed), scorpion (stained black), and cork (stained yellow). (5) Quality characteristics. 1. (1) Plane bamboo weave and three-dimensional bamboo weaving: the ratio of warp and weft is appropriate, the pattern is clear, the layers are distinct, and the colors are rich. (2) Porcelain tire bamboo weaving: thin bamboo, close to the tire, sealed head. 2. 3. Producers within the scope of the production of TD Mingzhu may submit an application to the Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau of Chongzhou City of Sichuan Province for the use of the “Special Mark for Geographical Indication Products”, which shall be reviewed by the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision and reported to the AQSIQ for approval. The legal inspection agency of TD Mingzhu is designated by the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision.
