Heshui powder Ge is the most characteristic traditional product of Foshan, Guangdong. It originated from the local wild Ge, and was first planted in the early Ming Dynasty. It has a long history.

Technical requirements for quality of water-filled peaches (1). A fine leaf powder variety suitable for local cultivation. (2) Site conditions. Fertilization: In the middle of June, apply organic fertilizer containing nitrogen fertilizer, and apply a small amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. After the middle and late June, organic fertilizers containing phosphorus and potassium are mainly used, and a small amount of nitrogen fertilizer is applied. Proper use of farmyard manure and use of fertilizers with caution. 5. Plant adjustment: During the seedling, the side branches are removed. When pumping vines, leave strong side branches and top the main vines. When flowering, pick flowers. When the geranium plants are connected and close to the seal, the excess stems and leaves such as weak branches, overly dense branches and diseased branches are removed. 6. Pest control: Prevention and control of the principle of harmless treatment based on "agricultural control, physical control, biological control, supplemented by chemical control". The medicinal agents used must meet the requirements of NY/T393 “Guidelines for the Use of Green Food Pesticides” and GB8321.6 “Guidelines for the Rational Use of Pesticides (6)”. (4) Harvesting and storage. When the harvesting period is from November to December of each year, the head is 4cm, the tail is 5cm, and then cut. The storage method is yellow mud burial, and the storage period is half a year. (5) Quality characteristics. 1. Sensory characteristics: The appearance is olive-shaped, the tuber has less roots, no bifurcation, slight wrinkles, yellowish white, and the meat is milky white. The taste is sweet, slightly sweet, and free of slag. Fresh hydrating powder Ge water ≤ 55%. 2. Physical and chemical indicators (on a dry basis): starch ≥ 55%, crude fiber ≤ 2.0%, crude protein ≥ 8.0%.
