The western buffalo leaves are the leaves of the light bamboo (bamboo) of the gramineous plant. Produced in Yingde City, Guangdong Province, it is a famous product of Guangdong Province and belongs to the national geographical indication protection products. The leaves are thick, green, rich in chlorophyll and vitamins, and have a unique fragrance. They are ideal for eucalyptus or wrapped food.

Technical requirements for quality of western cattle and bamboo leaves (1). Dendrocalamus latiflorus Munro. (2) Soil conditions. Red loam soil and yellow red loam soil, deep soil layer (19 to 28cm), fertile soil (average potassium total 1.18%, total nitrogen average 0.124%, total phosphorus average 0.056%, organic matter content average 2.77%), acidic reaction, pH value 5 to 6.5. (3) Cultivation techniques. 1. Breeding method: use asexual breeding to raise seedlings. 2. Planting time: from February to April every year, after the cloudy or rainy days before the bud sprouts. 3. Picking time: The new leaves grow about 15 days. 2. Picking method: Take 3 to 4 pieces of the tender green end, which should be cut 2 to 3 cm along the upper part of the bamboo stem, and the bamboo leaves cannot be torn. 3. Processing: dry or dry after picking to a moisture content of 15% to 20%; cut to the end of the head, squeeze, dress or vacuum packaging. (5) Quality characteristics. 1. Sensory characteristics: leaf length 30 cm to 40 cm, width 6 cm to 10 cm, thickness 160g/m, tough and elastic; color green, reductive green after rehydration; scent unique and pure, more fragrant after cooking. 2. Physical and chemical indicators: The leaves of the bamboo leaves used for eucalyptus leaves are 30 cm to 40 cm long and 6 cm to 10 cm wide; the thickness of 160 g/m must be 95%, and the water content is controlled at 15% to 20%. 3. Safety requirements: Product safety indicators must meet the relevant regulations of the state for similar products.
