Chinese and foreign experts pointed out that Wuchuan is the "golden zone" for the growth of potatoes. The Wuchuan potato block is large, tidy, with high dry matter content, fleshy sand, smooth skin, no pollution, light degradation, and less pests and diseases. The quality of Wuchuan potatoes, which is grown in the same variety and produced by the same variety, is significantly better than other areas.

Technical requirements for quality of Wuchuan potato I. Variety Feiwuruite, Kexin No. 1, Sharpi, Wing Zhangshu No. 8, Wing Zhangshu No. 12, Connie Baker and other early-maturing varieties. Producers within the scope of Wuchuan potato production area may apply to the Wuchuan County Market Supervision Administration of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region for the use of the “Special Mark for Geographical Indication Products”, which shall be reviewed by the Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and reported to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine for approval. The testing organization of Wuchuan Potato is selected by the Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the testing institutions that meet the qualification requirements.
