Fengdan, also known as Tongling Peony and Tongling Fengdan, belongs to the Jiangnan variety group. Its root bark has analgesic, antipyretic, anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory, immune and other medicinal applications. It has thick roots, thick flesh, powdered feet and fine wood core. It has many characteristics such as bright stars and long-term storage, and it is also known as the four famous medicines of Anhui Province. It is also one of the 34 precious herbs in China. The "Chinese Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine" clearly states: "The quality of the tannin produced by Fengling Mountain in Tongling, Anhui Province is the best", so it is called Fengdan.
