Majia Shaomai, located in the middle street, is the earliest Hui restaurant in Shenyang. It was founded in 1796, the first year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty. At the beginning, Ma Chun, the founder of the company, just pushed a wheelbarrow to and fro in a busy market, selling while doing it. Ma Chun"s cooking is the same as BianFu"s dumplings. The selection of materials is very strict, and the production is meticulous and exquisite. He doesn"t think it is a small business and he takes it lightly. The natural shape is beautiful, the taste is good, and the number of people who eat it makes the business better. In the seventh year of tongzhi (1869 AD), due to the meticulous work and continuous research and improvement of "Ma Shaomai", a unique Shaomai food with unique flavor was finally formed. The name of "Ma Shaomai" spread widely, spread all over the city and became a popular delicacy among all walks of life. Celebrities and scholars from all walks of life vie to taste, and customers come in an endless stream, and business is booming. It is said that Zuo GuiGui, a famous patriotic general of the Hui nationality, likes to eat Shao Mai very much. He often patronizes "Ma Shao Mai". The presence of Zuo adults naturally brightens the shed wall of the shop. In 1828, his son, Ma Guangyuan, inherited his father"s business. He rented two board houses of about 20 square meters at the barrier wall of xiaoxicheng gate in Shenyang City. The business was carried out with a plaque, and the signboard of "Majia Shaomai restaurant" was put up. Later, it was operated by Hongfang and Ma Mingqing, the third generation of the Ma family. In June 1956, Majia Shaomai renovated more than 30 square meters in the east of xiaobeimen Road, and the business office was reopened under the leadership of two brothers of Ma family. They further improved the production process to form its unique flavor, famous in the three northeast provinces. In 1963, Ma Jiting, the fifth generation successor of the Ma family, inherited his ancestral property. All the ingredients, production methods and unique skills of Shaomai are inherited, which is in line with the tenet of "the gold buys the name, and the thousand gold buys the reputation". Ma Jia Shaomai has become a two-story building with a business area of more than 800 square meters. Ma Jiashao is characterized by exquisite selection of materials and fine processing. The finished product is filled with Huilu, and the skin is white and not sticky. It is pomegranate like. It tastes fragrant and has endless aftertaste. When making, the noodles are rolled into lotus leaves by hand, with thin and medium thick edges; fresh meat without tendon and skin is used as filling, and the meat, oil and water are not mixed; rice flour is used as cloth surface, and the dough is flexible; the filling is fragrant and juicy, delicious and does not touch teeth.
