Jiaohe potato, the origin of the cause is located on the banks of the Jiaohe River in the Jiaolai Plain of Shandong Province. The geographical and climatic conditions of this area are suitable. Baicheng Town is also the famous “hometown of potatoes” in Jiaodong Peninsula. Potato cultivation is the traditional advantage industry of the town. It has a long history of planting, so the potatoes are of good quality, with uniform head and yellowish luster. The meat is fine and the content of trace elements is high.

Jiaohe potato quality technical requirements (a) varieties. The early-maturing varieties were selected from “Netherlands No. 7” and the medium-ripe varieties were selected from “Netherlands No. 15”. (2) Site conditions. The area where the soil type is fluvo-aquic soil and the sandy loam is sandy loam soil, the soil pH is 5 to 7, and the irrigation and drainage conditions are good. (3) Cultivation techniques. 1. 2. Generally, 2 to 3 layers of potato seeds are laid on the fine sand, and the potato seeds are covered with fine sand to keep moist. Mainly applied with high-quality organic fertilizer, combined with ploughing and land preparation, fully mixed with the plough layer. 3. Colonization: (1) Time: The large arch shed is in early January, the small arch shed is in early February, and the open field is cultivated in early April. (2) Depth: The soil with low ground temperature and high water content should be shallow sowing, the planting depth is about 5 cm; the soil with high ground temperature and dry soil should be deep sowing, and the sowing depth is about 10 cm. (3) Density: The seeding density varies with the variety. Early-maturing varieties are planted with about 5,000 plants per acre, and medium-maturing varieties are planted with about 4,500 plants per acre. (4) Method: adopt ridge method, single ridge and double row planting. The ridge distance is 1 meter, the small row spacing is 20 cm, and the plant spacing is 20 to 25 cm. Both spring and autumn sowings are covered with plastic film. 4. Soil cultivation: Combine cultivating and weeding soil for 2 to 3 times. After the emergence of the seedlings, the first shallow soil was cultivated, and the high-cultivation soil was in the bud stage. The last time before the ridge was cultivated, the soil was ploughed into a wide and high ridge. 5. Irrigation and drainage: It is not suitable for irrigation before emergence. In the period of tuber formation, timely watering should be carried out in a timely manner. Avoid water flooding when watering. In areas or seasons where there is a lot of rain, it should be drained in time, and there should be no water in the field. Stop watering 7 to 10 days before harvest. 6. Environmental and safety requirements: The use of pesticides, fertilizers, etc. must comply with relevant national regulations and must not pollute the environment. (4) Harvesting and storage. 1. Harvesting: The harvest time of the large arch shed is in early April, the small arch shed is in early May, and the open field cultivation is generally in mid-June. Harvested at the right time according to market demand and climatic conditions. After harvest, the tubers are protected from exposure, rain and long exposure to the sun. 2. Storage: (1) Pre-cooling bag (box): Store the potatoes in the environment of 10 to 15 °C for 2 to 3 weeks before storage to age the tuber epidermis. Bagging (box) 15kg / bag, stack height of about 1.2 meters. (2) Storage period management: temperature index: 0 to 4 ° C, gas index O2: 5% to 7%, CO2: 10% to 12%, air relative humidity 85% to 90%. The storage period is no more than two months. (5) Quality characteristics. 1. The color skin is thin and smooth, pale yellow, and the meat is bright. 2. Safety requirements: Product safety indicators must meet the relevant regulations of the state for similar products.
