Phoenix Single Cong (枞) tea is an oolong tea produced in the Chaoshan area of ​​Guangdong. Because of its unique aroma and distinctive characteristics, it is an important part of oolong tea. Since it originated in Fenghuang Mountain in Chaozhou, it has been called “Phoenix Single Congcha” in history. The phoenix single-cluster tea began in the late Southern Song Dynasty. After more than 600 years of tens of generations of inheritance, the resources and species still maintain the original history. The single-cluster tea tree cultural heritage resources mainly exist in the middle and high mountains with an altitude of 600-1200 meters in the territory, of which more than 3700 ancient tea trees have more than 200 years. The ancient tea tree of Fenghuang is praised by experts as “the national treasure of China, and it is a rare and rare tea tree resource in the world”.
