According to historical records, during the Song Dynasty, the chestnuts in the Yanshan area were royal tributes. Going into modern times, because it is produced in the east of Beijing, it is referred to as "Jingdong Chestnut". Now "Jingdong Chestnut" has become a household name and has become a delicious taste on people's tongue.

Jingdong chestnut quality technical requirements (a) varieties. Excellent varieties and live-types approved by the state and selected elite lines with Jingdong chestnut characteristics. (2) Site conditions. The soil type is cinnamon soil, brown loam soil and aeolian sandy soil formed by weathering such as gneiss, granite, quartz monzonite and quartz diorite. The soil layer is thick and the structure is loose, with a pH of 6.5 to 7.0. (3) Cultivation management. 1. Seedling cultivation: Jingdong chestnut, which is fully mature, full of seeds and free from pests and diseases, is used as a seed to cultivate seedlings. On the robust tree of the superior seed tree or the excellent single line, collect the annual branches of the canopy or the upper part of the top and the thick and strong branches for the scion breeding grafted seedlings. 2. Planting: spring planting or autumn planting. The density does not exceed 1665 per hectare. Reasonable matching with pollination varieties, the ratio is not less than 8:1. 3. Fertilization: mainly applied organic fertilizer, supplemented by chemical fertilizer. For large-scale construction of flat land, saplings and initial fruit trees are applied 1.5 to 2.3 tons of organic fertilizer per hectare, and 15 tons of organic fertilizer per hectare during the fruiting period. The mountainous tree is recommended to press green manure. Before germination and fruit expansion period, the topdressing was dominated by nitrogen fertilizer before germination. The fruit expansion period was mainly phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, and formula fertilization was advocated. 4. Soil management: Water and soil conservation measures should be taken in mountainous areas to repair terraces or hoes and digging fish scales. Soil improvement is carried out by means of deep turning and expanding holes. 5. Plastic trimming: The tree shape adopts natural happy shape and evacuated layered shape. Winter pruning combined with growing season pruning, trimming year after year, keeping the tree body ventilated and transparent. (4) Picking and storage. 1. Picking: picking up the natural falling particles, it is strictly forbidden to pick green. 2. Storage in cold storage: Each batch of goods shall be strictly inspected before entering the warehouse. After passing the inspection, the certificate shall be attached to the warehouse and palletized according to the level batch. During storage, the following requirements should be met: (1) temperature 0 ° C to 5 ° C; (2) relative humidity of about 90%; (3) carbon dioxide concentration of not more than 3%. The stock chestnuts are to be inspected every 7 days, and the quantity to be inspected shall not be less than 20% per batch. The monitoring of temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide concentration in the warehouse should be carried out at regular intervals in the morning, middle and evening. (5) Quality characteristics. 1. Sensory features: fresh chestnut: nut exquisite, peel brown or dark brown, shiny, less hair, small base, easy to peel off the skin. Chestnut: The flesh is light yellow, the meat is fine, the taste is sweet and strong, and it is strong. 2. Physical and chemical indicators: water content 47.9±2.5%, sugar content 22.2±3.5%, gelatinization degree 57.2±2.5. C, also contains vitamin C, vitamin E, iron, calcium, a variety of nutrients and trace elements beneficial to the human body.
